October 14th - Sydney Australia

After a 15 hour flight we arrived in Sydney, Australia around 7:00 am Wednesday. Our first stop was at the Darling Harbor for a much needed Starbucks and our first photo-op. We then boarded a ferry for a scenic cruise under the Sydney Bridge on our way to the famous Sydney Opera House which is an architectural masterpiece. While near the opera house we decided to stop for a bit to eat....Jim's lunch was a delicious Belgium Waffle with a scoop of chocolate ice cream....must be an Australian favorite. After lunch we took a short tour on the history of the Opera House, and then returned to the ferry building for a return trip to Darling Harbor, were we passed many beautiful sights along the trip back.
